More than 1,000 students are taking classes at Livingston and McGavock this semester. Vol State offers library services at both locations. The Livingston Library is open when the Livingston Center is open and a librarian is on-site during posted hours. The Library at McGavock, located on the second floor, is open 5:00 until 8:00 Monday through Thursday evenings and a librarian is present. Each library has access the Vol State Library’s databases, NetLibrary ebooks, streaming videos, and NoodleBib. When you have a research question or need a place to study, visit the Library.
When off-campus, Vol State students, faculty and staff can access databases and ebooks. On the Resources web page, click on the material you want to search. Enter your Vol State username, such as jasmith, and your Vol State password when requested. This is the same username and password you enter to log into a computer in the Library or a computer lab.
