In Oz it may be Lions, and tigers, and bears. Oh my! But in the library we hear databases, articles, and MLA. Oh my! The library can help relieve your research anxiety.
The library is more than just a place to take a break between classes. Through our Learn@ the Library programs we offer you the opportunity to improve your research skills, find better articles faster, and easily create a works cited page.
All Learn@the Library sessions meet in the Research Center on the first floor of the library. Stop by — reservations not needed.
Our first session, NoodleBib: the easy way to do citations, meets on Tuesday, September 14 at 11:15 a.m. and in only 30 minutes you can learn about this free web-based citation and note-taking tool. Learn how to create a works cited page or annotated bibliography formatted in MLA, APA or Chicago style.
Don’t worry if you can’t make this session. We will offer it again on October 12 at 11:15 a.m. and October 13 at 2:30 p.m.
